As the boat moves along the narrow canals of the back waters and through the villages you will find that this is a completely unique ecosystem. The only means of transport are the ferry's.
The small boats stop as the large ferry causes huge waves and this could topple the small boats. We had experienced it and it could be risky if you don't know how to swim. What we should call it a Ferry Stop.It just look like our bus stop. This is School bus..oh I am sorry It's a school ferry..Interesting na!!!! Allepy had given us various surprises. Now Look at this ........!!! What is it??? Its oberoi hotel moving on backwater of Allepy. Wasn't interesting!!! Last edited by Jasbir Kaur; 17-03-2012 at 09:22 AM. |

Then we went to market for shopping. The things available were in budget.
After shopping we got had a lunch in a restaurant and then got a bus for Cherrai. Last edited by Jasbir Kaur; 17-03-2012 at 09:18 AM. |

Then in afternoon we got a bus for Ernakulam and we went to that shop again to say bye to that shopkeeper .He was so happy to see us again. It was the last destination and the last day at kerela. All at sealine resort were surprised to see us again. We saw the sunset at sea of Cherai beach and it was a memorable moment which will remain alive forever in my heart.
Then we had a candle light dinner. We spend so many hours in lapse of nature watching sea god .It was hard to believe that we were going to return back. Now sea line was full of foreigners and they all were so nice and caring. Next morning we had a breakfast and had some friendly conversation with the foreigners . Last edited by Jasbir Kaur; 17-03-2012 at 09:17 AM. |

Then we went to beach and enjoyed a lot .We again saw dolpins in the sea of Cherrai.
Now it was the time to say bye to all friends (foreigners, dolphins ,Coconut trees , lakes ,backwaters, sea ,ferries,ships.....to kerela). We hope that next time we got a chance to visit Kerela. We captured photograph of few people who came for Shabriwala festival. We got train and in that train there was a little doll Ana and some army and navy officers .They made our journey worthwhile. Miss u KERELA and wish to visit again. It was not only a Journey but a blessing of god to see "The god's own country." Last edited by Jasbir Kaur; 17-03-2012 at 09:16 AM. |
